Meet the designer,

Designer, baker,
always curious.

I'm a UX designer and researcher completing a Bachelor of Design (UX/UI) at the University of Melbourne. My work spans user research, Figma prototyping, and front-end development — with a particular interest in how AI can make digital experiences feel more human.

Outside of studio work, you'll find me running Yam's Oven — a home-baking project where every batch is its own small act of craft.

My story —

I make things with care, whether that's an interface or a cake.

My path into design started with curiosity — about how websites work, why some apps feel effortless and others don't, and what makes a piece of writing or imagery genuinely move someone. That curiosity led me to user experience design, where I get to combine research, problem-solving, and visual craft.

I'm drawn to projects that have a little weight to them — work that helps people, or quietly improves something they didn't even realise was broken. My recent project, Walk of Life AI, was a chance to do exactly that: designing an AI-powered tool to help students build CVs and portfolios they actually feel proud of.

Outside of school and studio work, I bake — a lot. What started as a lockdown hobby slowly grew into something more: a small home-baking business called Yam's Oven. It's taught me as much about design as any class has — patience, iteration, attention to small details, and the importance of making something beautiful and useful at the same time.

Passion project —

Yam's Oven

"Bespoke cakes and cupcakes, made with care."

Yam's Oven is my home-based cake studio specialising in bespoke cakes and cupcakes — where aesthetics and decor are just as important as the taste.

What started as weekend experiments grew into something I now share with friends, neighbours, and beyond. Every order is designed and decorated by hand — because a cake should be as beautiful as it is delicious.

— What I value —

Slow craft. Real research. Honest work.

01

Curiosity first

Every project starts with a question. The best design happens when I take time to understand the people I'm designing for, instead of assuming I already do.

02

Make it kind

Whether it's an interface or a loaf of bread, I want the thing I make to feel like it was made with care — the kind people can sense without being told.

03

Iterate gently

No first draft is the final one. I'd rather make something three times and get it right than push out something passable on the first try.
